Joanna obtained her medical degree from the University of Newcastle and grew up in regional New South Wales. She has worked in a range of locations across Australia, beginning her training in Tamworth NSW before spending time in the Top End of the Northern Territory. She later completed three years of paediatric training in Brisbane before transitioning to General Practice.
Joanna is an Aboriginal doctor with a strong interest in women’s health, children’s health and preventative health care, and is passionate about providing high-quality care to her patients.
Outside of medicine, Joanna is a mum to a busy toddler and enjoys spending time and going on adventures with family and friends.
