Health and Wellbeing, Skin cancer Medicine(Advanced certificate in Skin cancer medicine,Healthcert), Women’s health including Menopause management, Family planning, IUD(Mirena/Kyleena) and Implanon insertion, Older’s persons health(Geriatric medicine). She offers aged care visits and home visits, Children’s health. She has a Diploma in Child Health.

Dr.Ananya Murthy is an experienced GP with over 20 years of clinical experience. She is passionate about providing holistic care through evidence based medicine and preventive strategies. Ananya is also a medical educator at the Royal Australian College of General Practice ensuring the next generation of GPs are enabled to reach their full potential and trained to highest standards.
After graduating from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India, in 2003, she moved to South Australia to pursue a career in General Practice. She worked in rural and regional hospitals of SA before completing GP training in Mount Gambier ,SA. She lived and worked in Mount Gambier for over a decade as a GP, serving in the capacity of a clinic Partner and GP supervisor at a large General practice.
Having had the opportunity to work in diverse healthcare systems in India and Australia, Ananya has acquired skills in various aspects of General Practice and enjoys the diversity it offers.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, exploring the great outdoors, cooking and travelling. When time permits she hopes to get back to playing badminton regularly and complete yoga teacher training.
