To see your preferred doctor at a convenient time, please make an appointment. Please visit the “Appointment Rules” tab before entering the “Book an Appointment” tab.

Online booking is not to be used in an emergency. If your matter is urgent, please present to your local hospital emergency department or call emergency TRIPLE ZERO (000).

Results

Patients are responsible for following up their results.

Your doctor will advise when they expect your results to arrive at the practice. You are encouraged to make a review appointment to discuss your results with your doctor. In the event of a clinically significant result, you will be contacted as soon as possible to make a follow up appointment to discuss the results with your doctor. Your doctor may also contact you via SMS but will not do this without prior authorisation from you.

Some test results may be available to you by talking to our nurses. You can ring our phone results line on 9599 8288 between Monday – Friday from 2pm – 3pm.

Results are usually available 3 days after having the test.If you have previously consented with your doctor, results maybe sent to you via SMS. Please ensure that you advise us of any change to your contact details.

Please note that if a child is aged over 16 years, the details of test results cannot be legally disclosed to a parent without the patient’s prior consent, and this needs to be recorded in their medical notes.

Fees

We are a private billing clinic.

Consultations are charged depending on a number of factors including length, the complexities of the problem and the issues involved. The costs of the consultation can be discussed with the Doctor involved.

Effective 13th November 2015

Payment at the time of consultation is preferred otherwise an additional $12 is charged. Payment can be accepted in cash, by cheque, Mastercard or Visa.

A cancellation fee may be charged for failed attendance. Please give the clinic at least 2 hours notice if you are unable to attend. There is a very high demand for appointments, so notification if you are unable to attend is appreciated on 95986244.

Fees for specific procedures will be higher as will the rebate from Medicare.

Facility Fee

Please note that in order to provide adequate staff and equipment in our Treatment Room a Facility Fee will be charged for all procedures performed there.The charge will vary according to the complexity of the procedure. There is no Medicare rebate for this fee. For further details, please speak to your Doctor or our Nurse.

We are now able to claim your rebate from Medicare electronically for you and Medicare will pay it into your bank account within 24 hours. You need to register with Medicare first. Please ask our reception staff or read the information sheet located in the waiting rooms.

Workcover and Transport Accident Claims

Private fees are generally charged for ALL consults relating to TAC and Workcover. Please take your receipt for evidence of payment and reimbursement. Although similar to Medicare rebates, processes for TAC and Workcover reimbursements are different and even vary between Australian States and Territories. Therefore accounts are generally a matter between you as the patient and your employer, or between you and the TAC  / Workcover insurer.

Approximate out of pocket Expenses for Tests

There are variable out of pocket costs for diagnostic tests and specialist visits. Guidelines for these expenses can be provided by your doctor.

We accept cash, EFT, credit card VISA, Mastercard and cheque payments. Please note that a PIN is now required on all card transactions. We do not accept Diners Club and AMEX. Phone payments by credit card is accepted. Please call 95986244.

On your first visit we will take details of your previous medical history and this may require a double appointment.

We can organise to have your medical records transferred from your previous doctor.
