Electronic Reminders

As part of our commitment to providing the highest level of service possible to patients, we use an electronic reminder system. You will be reminded via SMS when it’s time to visit your doctor for a check-up or as a follow-up to health risks that have previously been found. This may include check-ups relating to diabetes, high blood pressure, other chronic diseases and even government cancer screening and immunisation programs.

Even when you agree to be included in our Recall and Reminder system, you should also note when you are next due to be tested for certain conditions. You should always contact us to get results of any tests that have been performed to ensure appropriate follow up.

A reminder SMS will be sent to your mobile phone advising of your upcoming appointment the night before the consultation. Please advise reception staff if you do not wish to receive the SMS. Your doctor may also contact you via SMS regarding results but will not do this without prior authorisation from you. Please contact reception to let us know if you have any concerns. Generally, it is advisable to make an appointment with your doctor if you wish to extensively discuss the outcome of any medical investigations and arrange appropriate follow up.
